We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Geden, including our mobile applications for Android and iOS, our website, and related products, features, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
When you use the Services, you may provide information during conversations or interactions with your Geden AI companion. We process this information only as described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide personalized, safe, and functional AI conversations and to improve the Services. We may use limited information about visits to our website or app usage to promote and improve our Services, but we do not use or disclose the content of your private conversations for targeted advertising.

1. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide
Through your use of the Services, you may provide us with the following information:
- Account information: Information you provide when creating or managing an account, such as your email address, password, login credentials, and account settings.
- Profile information: Information you choose to provide, such as your name, display name, gender, preferences, interests, avatar, or other profile details.
- Messages and content: The content of your conversations and interactions with your AI companion, including text, photos, videos, voice messages, prompts, generated content, and other materials you upload or submit. This may include sensitive information you choose to share. By providing such information, you consent to our processing it to provide, personalize, secure, and improve the Services.
- Payment information: When you make a purchase, our third-party payment processors, such as Apple, Google, Stripe, PayPal, or other payment partners, process your payment details. We receive transaction records and purchase status information, but we do not store your full payment card information.
- Communications with us: Information you provide when contacting support, responding to surveys, participating in interviews, promotions, or feedback programs.
B. Information we collect automatically
We may automatically collect information about your device, network, and interactions with the Services, including:
- Device and network data: Operating system, device model, browser type, app version, IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, language settings, time zone, and approximate location based on IP address or device settings.
- Usage data: Information about how you interact with the Services, such as screens viewed, features used, buttons clicked, pages visited, session duration, purchase flow interactions, and error or crash data.

- To provide and operate the Services, including account creation, login, AI conversations, content generation, subscriptions, in-app purchases, and customer support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To personalize your experience, including remembering preferences, improving conversation quality, and adapting AI companion interactions. Legal basis: performance of a contract, consent where required, and legitimate interests.
- To improve and develop the Services, including debugging, analytics, performance monitoring, product research, model quality evaluation, and feature optimization. Legal basis: legitimate interests and consent where required.
- To maintain safety, integrity, and security, including fraud prevention, abuse detection, moderation, age-related protections, policy enforcement, and protection of users and the public. Legal basis: legitimate interests, legal obligations, and protection of vital interests where applicable.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions or in-app purchases. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
- To communicate with you, including service notices, support responses, security alerts, product updates, surveys, and marketing communications where permitted. Legal basis: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and consent where required.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, property, and safety. Legal basis: legal obligations and legitimate interests.
3. How We Share Your Information
We only share your information in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We share information with vendors and partners who provide services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, infrastructure, analytics, customer support, moderation, security, payment processing, email delivery, and product operations. - Payment and app marketplace partners: If you purchase subscriptions or in-app items through Apple, Google, Stripe, PayPal, or similar partners, those partners process payment and transaction information under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Advertising partners: Where permitted by law, we may share limited non-conversation data, such as device identifiers, browser type, approximate location, attribution data, and general analytics about website or app visits, to measure and improve advertising. We do not share the content of your private conversations for targeted advertising.
- Analytics and product improvement tools: We may use third-party analytics and session tools to understand how users interact with the Services and improve user experience. These tools may collect app interaction data, anonymous or pseudonymous device identifiers, crash reports, load times, and navigation patterns. Where configured, sensitive inputs, passwords, and personal information are masked before transmission.
- Legal requirements and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Geden, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Our Services may be operated from Singapore and other locations where we or our service providers process data. - Conversation data: Retained as needed to provide and personalize the Services, and deleted or anonymized after account deletion unless retention is required for safety, legal, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

- Transaction data: Retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations, which may be up to seven years or longer where required by law.
- Analytics data: Retained for a limited period appropriate to the purpose of collection, and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
